Top 10 reasons to participate in a AAcomp Library Of Congress Veteran History Project Interview

 1.  Historical Legacy :  Honor 442nd RCT, 100th Battalion, Military Intelligence Service, Korean Conflict veterans. 

2.  Community Legacy :  Nisei community, Incarceration camp resettlement, and the establishment of the sansei generation.

3.  Personal Legacy:  Personal history, for the family legacy, future generations, kids, grandkids.

4.  Suehiro Exhortation:  You deserve this, regardless of where you were stationed, to honor your sacrifice and service to your country.

5.  Bob Wada Exposition:  To tell future generations that when this country was in trouble, that the Japanese Americans did their part.

6. Historical perspective:    To help current and future generations understand the Cold War and Vietnam era and the impact of the draft on personal lives.

7. Vince Okamoto Declaration:  To remind the Japanese American community and America at large that Sansei fought in the Vietnam war  and that Japanese Americans served.
